In general, we ask that research assistants commit to serving 2 semesters in the lab and to working at least 6 hours/week in the lab (for 2 credits at a minimum). This allows you to see a variety of types of research that goes on and to become expert in running the studies for which you are trained. We seek research assistants who have a GPA of 3.00 or better, who are responsible, trustworthy, and willing to learn, and who are willing to invest the time and energy required to make the lab work well. We celebrate the end of every semester with a lab party, where we tell tales of the semester and bid goodbye to departing students.
